Manchester Airport completed a major phase of its £1.3 billion transformation programme in late 2025 and early 2026. Terminal 1 closed to most passengers in November 2025, with all airlines except Ryanair relocating to the expanded Terminal 2. On 5 March 2026, the former Terminal 1 entrance was officially rebranded as Terminal 3 Departures, creating a single, unified terminal for Ryanair passengers.
At the same time, the airport introduced a new numbered car park system (P1 to P16) to simplify signage and wayfinding. If you booked your parking before this date, your car park may now have a different name on the airport signs. Always check your booking confirmation email for the updated details before you travel.

Terminal 3 Car Parks at a Glance
There are several official parking options available for Terminal 3 passengers, ranging from the premium convenience of Meet & Greet to budget-friendly park-and-ride services. Here is a quick summary of each car park, its new P-number, and how it works.
T3 Multi-Storey – P14 (Short Stay & Pre-Book)
The T3 Multi-Storey (P14) is the closest self-park car park to Terminal 3 and the most convenient option if you want to walk straight to check-in. It is an undercover, multi-level car park located directly opposite the terminal building. The car park uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) for barrier-free entry and exit, so there are no tickets to worry about.
The ground floor is reserved for turn-up customers who have not pre-booked. If you have a pre-booked reservation, park on the first or second floor. Both card and cash payments are accepted at the exit barrier for turn-up customers. This car park is also the main option for picking someone up from Terminal 3 arrivals.
The Multi-Storey is ideal for stays of a few hours up to around a week, though it can also be booked for longer trips. Because of its proximity to the terminal, it is particularly popular with families travelling with young children, passengers with heavy luggage, and anyone with reduced mobility. Disabled parking spaces are located near the lifts and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
T3 Meet & Greet – P13
Meet & Greet T3 (P13) is the premium parking option at Terminal 3. You drive to a dedicated area next to the terminal, park in a marked bay, and hand your keys over at the reception cabin. A fully insured professional driver then parks your car in a secure on-site facility while you walk straight to check-in.
When you return, you collect your keys from the reception cabin and your car will be parked nearby, ready to drive away. The car park is barrier-controlled with CCTV monitoring and regular security patrols around the clock. All vehicles must have a valid MOT certificate at the time of drop-off. Trailers, transit vans, minibuses, motorhomes, and caravans are not accepted.
Important: From late March 2026, T3 Meet & Greet (P13) is no longer accepting new bookings. If you are looking for a similar service, Manchester Airport recommends Drop & Go Express (P16), which is located just a 2-minute walk from Terminal 3 Departures.
T3 Mid Stay – P15 (formerly T1/T3 Mid Stay)
Mid Stay T3 (P15), previously known as T1/T3 Mid Stay, offers a solid middle ground between the convenience of the Multi-Storey and the lower prices of JetParks. It is a walkable car park — no shuttle bus is required — making it a popular choice for passengers who want to save money without adding the extra time of a bus transfer.

The JetParks car parks are Manchester Airport's most affordable official parking options and are well suited for holidays and longer trips. They are located a short distance from the terminals and connected by a free shuttle bus that runs every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Two JetParks car parks serve Terminal 3 passengers:
JetParks 3
JetParks 3 is located just outside the main airport grounds, about one mile from the terminals. It is owned and operated by Manchester Airport and has been awarded the Park Mark Safer Parking Award. The car park uses ANPR at the entry and exit barriers, so your number plate is read automatically and no ticket is needed.
The free shuttle bus runs to all three terminals (T1, T2, and T3) every 15 minutes, day and night. Buses are fully wheelchair-accessible with ramps and designated spaces. When you return, follow the signs to the JetParks 3 bus stop outside your arrivals terminal and the shuttle will bring you back to your car. JetParks 3 is pre-book only — you cannot turn up and park without a reservation.
There are no height restrictions at JetParks 3, but transit vans, minibuses, motorhomes, caravans, and trailers are not permitted. The minimum stay is 3 days.
JetParks Ringway
JetParks Ringway is often the cheapest official parking option at Manchester Airport. Like JetParks 3, it offers a free shuttle bus service to all terminals and uses ANPR for entry and exit. It is also pre-book only.

Drop Off & Pick Up at Terminal 3
If you are being dropped off or picked up at Terminal 3, there are several options depending on how much time you need and whether you want to pay.
Terminal 3 Drop Off Zone
The dedicated Drop Off zone is located directly outside Terminal 3 Departures. It is the most convenient option for a quick goodbye, but a fee applies. The maximum stay is 30 minutes, and payment must be made online by midnight the following day. Be aware that a £100 charge applies if you attempt to pick up passengers in the Drop Off area.

Free Drop Off Area
Manchester Airport provides a free Drop Off area in the JetParks 1 car park. A free shuttle bus runs 24/7 from the car park to all terminals, with the journey taking around 6 minutes. This is a one-way service from the car park to the terminal — the shuttle does not return to JetParks 1 from the terminal. Marshals are on hand to assist.
Terminal 3 Pick Up
To collect arriving passengers, use the T3 Multi-Storey (P14) car park. You can park on the ground floor without a pre-booking. The car park is just a short walk from the Terminal 3 arrivals area. A fee applies based on how long you stay, and payment can be made at the exit barrier by card or exact change.
Driving Directions to Terminal 3 Car Parks
All Terminal 3 car parks are accessed from Junction 5 of the M56 motorway. From the motorway junction, keep right and follow signs for Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. At the first set of traffic lights, take the left-hand lane signposted for Terminal 3, Wilmslow, Wythenshawe, and Gatley (A555), which takes you onto Ringway Road West.
For the T3 Multi-Storey (P14): at the first roundabout, turn right into Parade Road, signposted T3 Multi-Storey P14. Continue straight and the car park entrance is the second left turn after the zebra crossing.
For JetParks 3: continue along Ringway Road West past the business park. At the fourth set of traffic lights, turn right towards Wilmslow and Styal, then immediately right again onto the access road for JetParks 3. Follow the signs until you reach the car park barrier.

Most official Terminal 3 car parks use Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology. When you drive up to the entry barrier, the system reads your vehicle's number plate and the barrier lifts automatically — no ticket is needed. The same happens on exit.
When booking, make sure your vehicle registration details are entered correctly, as this is what gives you access to the car park. Save Money on Terminal 3 Parking
- Book as early as possible: Parking prices increase as your travel date approaches. Booking several weeks or months in advance can save you 50–60% compared to a last-minute reservation.
- Pre-book vs. turn up: Drive-up prices at the Multi-Storey are significantly higher than pre-booked rates, and JetParks car parks do not accept turn-up customers at all.
